Yesterday, we took a 3 hour helicopter ride all around the Arenal Volcano area… We flew over San Carlos, Tilarán and their surroundings, taking aerial photos of different proyects made by a Costarican construction company. The day couldn’t have been more perfect. Scattered clouds in the sky, no wind, warm weather. To my surprise, we flew right next to the Arenal Volcano, which was looking it’s best! Here are a couple of photos of the session.
Ayer tomamos un vuelo en helicóptero de 3 horas, y sobrevolamos las áreas alreadedor del Volcán Arenal. Volamos sobre San Carlos, Tilarán, entre otras regiones, tomando fotos aéreas de algunos de los proyectos de una compañia constructora. El día no pudo haber estado más perfecto. Nubes livianas decorando el cielo azul, un clima cálido sin gota de viento. Para mi sorpresa, volamos justo al lado del Volcán Arenal, el cual no pudo haber estado más bello! Abajo, una pequeña muestra de la sesión…

Wedding at Barceló Langosta Hotel
Same as her mother and grandmother, Molly got married on an August 15th… The ceremony turned out beautiful and the sunset at Langosta, as always, was breathtaking! / Al igual que su abuelita y su mamá, Molly se casó un 15 de Agosto… La ceremonia estuvo lindísima ,y el atardecer en Langosta soprendió como siempre lo hace!

La historia con esta pareja es bastante larga! Nos conocimos en una expo el año pasado y a pesar de la excelente química que hicimos ese dia, yo no iba a poder fotografiar su boda ya que la fecha no la tenía disponible. Para mi inmensa sorpresa, Maria José me contactó semanas después para corfirmarme que habían cambiado la fecha para que yo pudiera ser la fotógrafa. Ya con eso me ganaron! El dia de la boda fue sumamente especial. La misa fue tempranito en la mañana y luego nos fuimos a una finca en La Garita para hacer la sesión de pareja… La finca bellísima, la luz perfecta, y Maria José y Pablo ni decir, no se podían ver más enamorados! Ese día me trataron como una más de la familia. Meses después, me contactaron porque querían una sesión de playa, y organizamos todo para hacer las fotos un fin de semana en el Hotel RIU. Me encantó verlos, igual de sonrientes y enamorados que el día de su boda. Ya Maria José con pelo corto y los dos con “look playero” relajado! Esta es la razón por la cual me encanta lo que hago, porque mi trabajo me ha permitido conocer a gente tan linda y especial como Maria José y Pablo, y por medio de mi trabajo he podido brindarles un recuerdo que les durará por años. A los 2 les deseo lo mejor y les agradezco la confianza que pusieron en mi para su boda!
The story with this couple is a little bit long! We met last year at a wedding expo , and even though we had great chemistry from the start, right there I knew I wasn’t going to be able to photograph their wedding, since I was already booked for another wedding that same day. To my surprise, Maria José contacted me some weeks after, letting me know they had changed their wedding day so I could be their wedding photographer. They won me over from that moment! Their wedding day was very special. Their ceremony was early in the morning, and after that we drove to a beatiful farm nearby where we did their photo session. The farm was spectacular, the light amazing, and I can’t even start telling you the happiness in Maria José and Pablo’s faces, they couldn’t have been more in love! That day I was treated like family, everyone was so special. Months later, they contacted me again. This time, they wanted a photo session at the beach. We coordinated everything to do the session at the RIU Hotel in Guanacaste. I loved seeing them once again, as happy and in love as the day of their wedding. Maria Jose was wearing her hair short this time, and the cool, relaxed “beach look” fitted them both perfectly! Overall, this is the reason why I love what I do. My job has allowed me to meet so many beautiful, special people like Maria Jose and Pablo. Through what I do, I get to give families memories that will last them a lifetime. I wish them both the best, and appreciate inmensly the trust you put in me for your wedding day!
Boda de Ana Laura y Jose Pablo
La boda de Ana Laura y Jose Pablo fue un rotundo éxito! Tuve la oportunidad de conocer más a fondo a Ana Laura y a Jose Pablo meses antes de su boda, cuando ellos optaron por tener una sesión de fotos de compromiso Desde el día que tomamos las fotos de compromiso, supe que su boda iba a ser muy especial, y asi lo fue. Todo salió bellísimo de principio a fin. Ana Laura se veía espectacular, y ni ella ni Jose Pablo pudieron contener sus sonrisas durante toda la noche. Definitivamente sé que la pasaron genial, y me alegro muchísimo por ellos, en realidad que son una pareja sumamente linda que se merecen toda la alegría de este mundo y más!
Ana Laura and Jose Pablo’s wedding was a complete success! I had the chance to get to know them a little bit more some months before their wedding day, since they decided to do an engagement session. Since the day we took those pictures at Jose Pablo’s farm, I knew this couple was special and I was sure their wedding was going to be great! Everything turned out wonderful from start to finish. Ana Laura looked fabulous, and neither her nor Jose Pablo could stop smiling during their entire wedding night, they were just enjoying every second of it so much! I wish them the best, they deserve all the happiness in the world and more!
